Banning Creek Field StationMap to Banning Creek Field Station

From Bisbee: Take Hwy 80 West exactly 2 miles past the far end of the Mule Pass Tunnel.

From the north (Sierra Vista, Tombstone, or Benson): Take Hwy 80 East 4.2 miles past intersection with Hwy 90, just past Adopt-a-Highway sign, "WATCH FOR ICE" sign (may be folded into a silver triangle), and broad, gravel pull-out on right shoulder of highway.

From both directions: Turn at flagpole protruding above trees marking Hidden Meadow Lane (small white street sign). Continue past fancy gate on left, through less conspicuous gate, and across bridge to light blue and white cabin. Parking is on right side of driveway on either side of picnic table and propane tank. CAUTION: Entrance road is steep, narrow, and overhung with trees. Visitors driving RVs longer than 20 feet or vehicles with trailers must park in highway pullout and walk down to field station.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The future of Banning Creek Field Station is uncertain. For access after September 2007, please contact SABO.
